HISTORY: Medicine of World War II
World War II was fought by men, but it was the medicine and medics who turned the tides of many battles, and perhaps ultimately the war. From the early use of sulfanilamide to the discovery of penicillin, WWII was the first major conflict wherein fewer men died to disease than to battle, thanks to the dedication of medics and aid-men. This is NOT your physician's podcast. Hosts Shane Garrettson and Cal Vandergrift dive into the pharmacy world with fun, interesting, and downright weird topics!
