Diabetes hasn't changed much over the past few thousand years, but the treatments of Diabetes have evolved to the point where what was once considered an incurable death sentence is now a manageable chronic illness with improved life expectancy. From tasting urine to experiments with ground-up pancreas, historical scientists and physicians left no stone unturned in their quest to identify the causes of diabetes.
